The Rustic Quintet is a young and exciting wind quintet based in Wales.

Formed in 2009, the group consists of five talented and enthusiastic students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

The quintet has already performed throughout Wales at many events and recitals, showcasing a wide variety of repertoire.

From arrangements of well known classics to works specifically for wind quintet, the group have a programme for every occasion. They are also focused on performing contemporary works and have been working closely with Sinfonia Newydd to promote new music.

The group is committed to music education and take part in outreach projects in schools throughout Wales. In these sessions they introduce children to classical instruments in an entertaining and enjoyable way.
